On March 26-27, the 2024 China Wuxi Global Dental Health Forum, sponsored by China Food and Drug Corporation Quality and Safety Promotion Association (FDSA) and co-organized by FDSA Dental Health Committee, was successfully held at the Wuxi International Conference Center. Under the theme of “New Trends, New Standards, New Developments”, the forum convened representatives of government officials, esteemed experts and scholars from both domestic and international arenas, and representatives of renowned dental brands. Through three dynamic thematic forums focusing on “Dental Implantation”, “Orthodontics”, and “Development and Future of Young Dentists”, attendees were treated to a high-caliber academic symposium, enriching the industry with invaluable insights.
The first China Wuxi Global Dental Health Forum serves as a gathering point for domestic and international industry elites, building an international platform for the dental industry. It aims to refine an international training system for the emerging dental professionals in China, contribute to the dental health knowledge popularization with Chinese governments, facilitate understanding of China’s regulations on dental equipment and medicines among global leading enterprises, and foster constructive dialogue and collaboration between enterprises and government regulatory agencies

The conference also featured significant events such as Dental Health Committee Member Unit Award Ceremony, Expert Appointment Ceremony, and the Signing Ceremony of Strategic Cooperation between Dental Health Committee and ITI. FDSA Dental Health Committee has officially become the exclusive knowledge partner of ITI in China. In future, FDSA will be able to exclusively implement ITI’s global training and educational resources in China. On March 27, the China Dental Students Association (CDSA) was officially founded at the Young Dentists Forum. Prof. Loh Hong Sai (Founder, Asia Pacific Dental Students Association (APDSA) and Dean, School of Dental Medicine, National University of Singapore, Head of Department of dental and Maxillofacial Surgery) delivered a keynote address for the forum, introducing the history and future of APDSA.
Mr. Michael Ma (Standing Committee Member of FDSA, Chairman of Dental Committee) said at the inauguration ceremony, “The China Dental Students Association (CDSA) is designed to build An efficient, well-organized and highly operated networking platform to promote exchanging and cooperation between Chinese students and international student association organizations. Through the CDSA platform, it is expected to nurture a new generation of scholars and dental specialists for China, advance China’s dental healthcare and benefit the people in China for their dental health.” The FDSA Dental Health Committee donated the first start-up capital to CDSA.
