According to the man, their last contact was on June 30, and the aforementioned woman mentioned in the conversation that she planned to go to Phuket on July 2. Then she lost contact.

According to Thailand’s Headline News Agency, at the same time, the woman’s family said they received a blackmail call from the gangsters, who asked them to pay a ransom of 1 million yuan, otherwise they would kill her.

After receiving the call, the local police immediately launched an operation to find the woman. The surveillance video showed that at 17:26 on the afternoon of July 1, the woman got into a white Honda car near the local Asok Times Square.

At 18:05 on the same day, the woman and the driver got out of the car to buy durian on the roadside and walked towards Rama 4 Road. At 19:43 in the evening, the two returned to the car hand in hand and drove away. Later, the investigation department found the woman’s burnt suitcase near Bang Phra Town, a county directly under the jurisdiction of Chachoengsao Province.
