China-Philippines cooperate to repatriate three kidnapping suspects

According to the Chinese Embassy in the Philippines, on July 13, the law enforcement agencies of China and the Philippines cooperated to repatriate three suspects suspected of kidnapping Chinese citizens in the Philippines.

This action once again fully demonstrated the two countries’ firm determination to jointly combat crimes hidden in the offshore gaming industry.

Chinese law prohibits any form of gambling activities, including online gambling, Chinese citizens gambling abroad, and opening casinos abroad to recruit Chinese citizens to participate in gambling.

The Chinese government has always cracked down on gambling and kidnapping and other criminal activities.

The Chinese Embassy in the Philippines maintains close communication and cooperation with the Philippine law enforcement agencies on jointly combating kidnapping and other criminal activities related to offshore gaming.

China will continue to strengthen pragmatic law enforcement cooperation with the Philippines and call on the Philippines to ban the offshore gaming industry as soon as possible to eradicate related problems.
