Chinese companies purchased 600,000 tons of US soybeans

According to Singapore’s “Lianhe Zaobao” website reported on November 8, according to traders’ news, China Grain Reserve Management Group purchased 600,000 tons of soybeans from the United States on the 7th.

The report quoted traders as saying that China Grain Storage Group purchased about 10 ships, 600,000 tons of soybeans from the United States. The soybeans will be shipped from export terminals in the Gulf Coast and Pacific Northwest between December and March.

According to the report, if the above news is confirmed, the order will set a one-day record for China’s purchase of US soybeans since July this year.

Traders noted that the order was the latest in a series of deals by China Grain Storage, which had previously bought about 20 to 25 cargoes of soyabeans.
