《南华早报》援引未具名消息人士的话报道称，目前有几家公司考虑以10亿美元竞购中国消费产品公司薇美姿，联合利华公司(Unilever PLC, UL)是其中之一。
据《南华早报》，其他考虑竞购的公司包括高露洁棕榄(Colgate-Palmolive Co., CL)和Church & Dwight Co. (CHD)。
