The27thChengduMotorShow(hereinafter referred to as the“show”)will be held from August30to September 8 at the Western China International Expo City, with the theme ofRoad to Western China, showcasing over1,600 vehiclesin three categories (fuel, electric andhybridelectric) from130companiesat home and abroad.
Itwasreported bythe press conference held on August 26that theshow’ssize reaches a new high.In addition to theprevious 11 exhibition halls,ExhibitionHallNo.9isincludedfor the first time.The outdoor exhibition areaisupgraded by introducinga 5,000-sqmautomotive technology exhibition area. Thetotalexhibitionareajumpsto 220,000 square meters.
A dedicated exhibition hall for BYD will appear at this show,showcasingallitspassenger carbrands,including Dynasty series, Ocean series,Yangwang,Fang ChengBao, andDenza, and globally debuting itsDynasty MCConcept Car.Besides,CATL, a globalleading EVbatterymanufacturerandXPENGAEROHT, an affiliate of XPENGandthe largest flying car company in Asiawill maketheirdebutsattheshow.
BMW Group willdisplayatotal of 13 new carsof itsBMW and MINI brands,and make theglobal debutofall-new BMW X3Landthedomesticdebutofall-new BMW M5.Besides,Lincoln, Lexus, JLR, Volvo, Cadillac, Genesisand many otherfamousbrands will also come onstage.
During the show, there will becolorfulactivities,such as the Never Expected lotteryfor car buyers,funvisit, testrides, testdrives, andautoexperiences,held by the organizingcommittee.Among them, activities suchas Classic Car Tour in Tianfu and Lakeside Cinema, leveraging theintegrationeffect of exhibitions and urban resources,will further boostresidents’consumption.
