According to the website of Suzhou Bureau of Statistics, the city’s gross regional product realized 2,465.34 billion yuan in 2023, up 4.6% from the previous year at comparable prices. Among them, the added value of the primary industry was 19.52 billion yuan, up 3.1%; the added value of the secondary industry was 1,154.14 billion yuan, up 3.6%; and the added value of the tertiary industry was 1,291.68 billion yuan, up 5.5%.
Gross output value of agriculture, forestry, animal husbandry and fishery in Suzhou realized 35.48 billion yuan.
The total output value of Suzhou’s above-scale industry reached 4,434.39 billion yuan.
The added value of Suzhou’s service industry accounted for 52.4% of the regional GDP.
