福特汽车公司(Ford Motor Co., F)周五公布，美国市场销量较上年同期下降26.9%，反映出全球半导体芯片短缺对该公司造成的影响。
在福特汽车公布销量之前，大多数主要汽车制造商周四都公布了在美国的销量情况。这些销量结果表明，过去几个月汽车业经历的强劲增长步伐正在放缓。
福特汽车本周稍早还表示，芯片短缺将迫使该公司在7月减少或停止超过六家美国工厂的生产，其中包括皮卡工厂和位于芝加哥的一家运动多用途车(SUV)工厂。
