From\u00a0September 5\u00a0to 7, the 11th Sichuan International Health Industry Expo &\u00a0Chengdu-Chongqing Economic Circle International\u00a0Health Tourism Expo\u00a0was\u00a0held at the Chengdu Century City New International Convention &\u00a0Exhibition Center, attracting more than 300 domestic and foreign exhibitors, and over\u00a032,000 audiences\u00a0(incl.\u00a0over 12,000 professionals).<\/p>\n
With the theme of innovation-driven healthcare\u00a0this year, the Expo focused\u00a0on fostering new quality productive forces\u00a0in medicine\u00a0and health\u00a0care. Covering\u00a0an area of 12,000 square meters, it was divided into eight sectors, namely\u00a0high-end diagnosis and treatment, biotechnology, medical equipment, medical information technology, big health\u00a0of TCM, nutrition and health, healthy food, as well as\u00a0health preservation\u00a0and rehabilitation. New products, technologies, applications, models, and businesses in big\u00a0health\u00a0were showcased to drive\u00a0the\u00a0industry\u2019s\u00a0healthy and sustainable development o\u00a0in Sichuan.<\/p>\n
Organized by the Health Commission of Chengdu, known as an international medical center and international capital of medical aesthetics, a number of pacemakers\u00a0in high-end healthcare, biological pharmacy, TCMs, and rehabilitation\u00a0participated\u00a0in the Expo. Among them, Sichuan Provincial People\u2019s Hospital\u00a0exhibited its distinctive\u00a0technologies and services of seven major diagnostic and treatment disciplines (departments). West China Hospital, Sichuan University showcased its cutting-edge medical technologies such as the radiofrequency ablation system for pulmonary neurotomy, AI-assisted diagnostic products for pulmonary nodules and lung cancers, and\u00a0single-direction thoracoscopic lobectomy. In addition, other public and private medical institutions such as Chengdu\u00a0First People\u2019s Hospital, Chengdu\u00a0Seventh\u00a0People\u2019s Hospital\u00a0and the Affiliated Hospital of Chengdu University also showcased their advanced diagnostic and treatment technologies, equipment, and distinctive medical services.<\/p>\n
During the Expo, there were also many supporting activities such as the 2nd Sichuan-Chongqing Smart Medical and Health Development Forum, the 3rd Chengdu-Chongqing Summit\u00a0of\u00a0Boao International Health\u00a0&\u00a0Tourism Forum, the Exchange and Promotion Conference for Fostering\u00a0New Quality Productive forces in Competitive\u00a0Disciplines of\u00a0Sichuan Medical Institutions, visit of Chengdu high-end characteristic healthcare, lecture on nutrition and health, as well as health consultation and health exercise experience for citizens.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
